Our first venture over the water!! For 55 Euros (one way) they’ll take us three to some port half-way around the island, whose name I can’t remember. How bad could it be?Sam looks almost at ease!!This is the line of other water taxis waiting to be hiredAnd we’re off for parts unknown!That large building in the center of this pic is our hotel!This card is our lifeline to get a ride back home 😀I am lovin the water taxis!! Even though we had no idea where we were headed, we just wanted to go somewhere and try it outWe somehow ended up in this idyllic silent coveAnd wouldn’t you know it, already time for lunch!! 😀It’s kind of crazy how calm & peaceful this was!!Our lunch restaurant as seen from afarWe absolutely loved it here (wherever it was lol)Then it was back to the roar of the water taxi to take us back homeThese trips are a blast!And just like that we’re back on our home turf—good to see they still have the cannons out, guarding us from invaders!Sam truckin off on a shopping missionMatt truckin off on a shopping missionI just love these nautical motifs you see everywhereWe had an easy dinner of pizzaThe pizza restaurantAnd a lovely stroll back to our hotel…. this was a GREAT DAY!!!!!
