I could get used to this!!Beautiful complimentary breakfast buffet at the Nissia Hotel
We initially had a difficult time finding our hotel, in Greek it looks like this: νάσια
This is our leisurely stroll up the promenade each dayLove this giant octopus thingy in the cobblestone walkway!Mysterious deserted old manor house, I’ll bet this place could tell some storiesSome tiny alleyway beckoningEverywhere you turn, you want to take a pictureAnd speaking of taking shots, we came across these old canons! And then lunch was had, at a place next to the docksAnother big ferry coming in. The small boats in the foreground are water taxis, more on them later 😀The rest of lunch; that’s a placemat in the center, it’s a nice map of Spetses (our waiter gave us a couple of them to go). The salad caprese was fantastic!Meanwhile, back at the pool…Sam taking a daring swim in the frigid pool!If you want the delicious dolce, too bad—it’s under lock & key! Until Matt noticed you could simply slide the whole chain off to one side and then have your way with it 😀Sam found a tortoise which instantly became Matt’s best bud!And off he goes!!Stunning views everywhereDinner was greatExcept the waiter insisted on pouring us ‘way too many after-dinner drinks, darn it!!The sun is quickly setting on a fantastic dayCheck out that sliver of a crescent moon near the center, can’t believe my phone actually caught that!
