Greece is not a rich country, but it is IMO all the more scenic because of that. There are a lot of rough edges here, and many crumbling structures lay caught in attractive ruin, at least for the present.
This afternoon we wandered aimlessly, just following tiny overgrown alleyways.
I must confess to having a thing for graffiti, in my opinion it can sometimes be quite artistic and amazing. A lot of Athens is absolutely overwritten with graffiti—some of it is too much but you have to admit a lot of it is pretty good!
